Governors for Schools and Credit Suisse have today announced their partnership to help place skilled volunteers on school boards.
Credit Suisse employees across the country will be able to join governing boards and make a difference to education in their communities. Governors for Schools will support volunteers throughout their journey to joining a board, providing training and resources to promote effective governance.
Caroline Courtois, Head of Corporate Citizenship EMEA at Credit Suisse, said: “The partnership with Governors for Schools enables us to provide our colleagues with a fantastic opportunity to share their skills and experience whilst supporting local communities. Our employees will also have access to Governors for Schools resources, thus supporting their own personal development. We are delighted to be involved in this important partnership.
Hannah Stolton, CEO of Governors for Schools, said: “Credit Suisse recognises the importance of strong governance in schools, and employees of the organisation are well-placed to lend their support. We look forward to working together to encourage Credit Suisse employees to volunteer their skills in schools.”
