Transforming education governance

Since 1999, we’ve supported nearly 40,000 volunteers into school governance roles. This work has positively impacted on the educational experiences of nearly 40 million children in England and Wales. To mark our 25th anniversary as a charity, we’ll be celebrating the volunteers and partners who have made this level of impact possible.

But with an estimated 20,000 vacancies on governing boards in England and Wales, our work is far from finished. If you’re a prospective volunteer, partner, or school in need, we hope you’ll join us on our journey to support – and strengthen – the education sector.
