Better Governor webinar: School finances – the issues for school governors in Summer 2025

This Better Governor session will explore the key financial issues impacting maintained schools and academy trusts in the summer of 2025 and the way in which governors and trustees should be addressing them. We will focus on topics including; school admission numbers, against a backdrop, for many schools, of falling rolls, changing staffing needs, increasing costs of staffing and the current pressures on the education system in terms of government funding.

The session will be facilitated by Better Governor’s Steve Barker and will be a mix of input from him combined with the opportunity to ask your own questions and have them answered in real time.
