Hot topics in governance, with Better Governor (GfS Conference 2021)

Join Linda and Steve from Better Governor for a session supporting and improving governor knowledge of ‘ key themes in educational policy’; this session will update all those in governance on the emerging and critical changes to policy, guidance and compliance that will need to inform board discussions in the autumn term of 2021.

At this stage it will include updates on:
• Ofsted (changes from Sept)
• Keeping Children Safe in Education (new for Sept)
• Financial priorities (SFVS, Internal Scrutiny for academies, etc.)
• New Baseline Screen and EYFS framework
