Remote Learning: seeking assurance it is fit for purpose (with Better Governor)
1st October 2020
This webinar, facilitated by Better Governor, explores the expectations that those involved in school governance should have of schools’ plans to deliver a remote curriculum to pupils in the event of:
- Closure of class or year group bubbles
- Rota attendance in secondary schools
- Pupils who for COVID-19 related reasons are unable to be in school.
It outlines Department for Education guidance on the topic and focuses on how governors should, through strategic oversight, seek assurance that schools have robust plans in place to support pupil learning.
The webinar was facilitated by Better Governor’s two governance experts, Steve Barker and Linda Waghorn.
