About the vacancy:
Brayton Academy is looking for a committed volunteer to join their board.
Brayton Academy is an Outstanding secondary school serving students and their families in Brayton, Selby Town, and villages to the South of Brayton in North Yorkshire. We are the local school of choice and have growing year groups. This has attracted additional funding from the DfE. The behaviour of students is exemplary which enables teachers’ freedom to teach. We are committed to providing professional development of our staff by supporting them with a coaching model together with the use of research and contemporary thinking.
Being a school governor is a commitment and a responsibility, but it’s also a rewarding position. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to improve education for children locally and see the impact of your decisions.
